The last destination on our European adventure was Paris, the City of Lights. We took a train to get there (Traveling by train was on my bucket list...check! I never imagined my destination would be Paris, France!) Our friend, Alli, travelled from Germany to meet us there, and we three had an incredible time. The city is magical---hidden galleries, sidewalk shops along the Seine River, cappuccino, breathtaking art, beautiful architecture, incredible food. This place is so romantic, begging you to relax, enjoy, and stay a while.

I can't even describe how delicious the food was! And the pastries, THE PASTRIES! Not going to lie, I think the food there was the highlight of our entire trip (Being nearly six months pregnant might have had something to do with that!) We went to a nearby bakery every morning and loaded up on amazingly delicious carbs! One of my favorite things about this city is how dinner is an event, something to savor, not to simply rush through. Most of the coffee shops didn't even have to go cups because people took the time to sit down and enjoy. And that's what we did---enjoyed.

Favorite food: The Pain au chocolat was to die for, but I would have to say ALL OF IT!

Favorite place: The hall of mirrors in the Palace of Versailles,

Most memorable moment: Sitting on the sidewalk with the girls, watching the Eiffel Tower twinkle.
