Film

For quite a while, I have been wanting to try my hand at the dying art of film photography; I wanted to really get to know the vintage form of photography that I stylize my processing to look like. Alas, about a week ago, a friend of Caleb's was giving away all of his darkroom equipment and two Nikon F cameras to "a good home." I was thrilled to get my hands on the oldest Nikon slr camera model, but I have to say that shooting this manual camera was a tad bit intimidating.  With no meter, no white balance, and no auto-focus, you literally only get one shot at it! Well, here I share the product of my first role of film, Fuji 200. (Nothing has been edited, and my awesome family are my guinea pigs.) I hope to set up my darkroom and learn to develop my own film soon. Has anybody ever messed with that? ~Amber
