I love getting handwritten letters in the mail. It just brightens my day (and is such a sweet break from the pile of bills in the mailbox!) I still enjoy emails, texts, and wall posts, and I am so thankful for this age of technology that I have been blessed to live in---but there is just something about knowing that a friend took the time to sit down and thoughtfully pen out a note for me. It makes me smile. So I would like to say thank you to my friends who have sent me letters and postcards. You don't know how much it means to me!
And to you, my dear reader, I would like to encourage you to take a moment to bless someone you care about by writing them a message the old fashioned way.
On another note, today was a snow day! We have had a couple puny snow days so far, but today was the first good downfall. I am not usually one for the cold; but, this morning, (after getting bundled up like the little brother in the movie A Christmas Story) I had fun playing in the snow. And so did this guy...
I just love that hairy dog. Hope your day is as good as Harvey's!
